Nassau Hall stands at the literal and figurative heart of Princeton University and houses the offices of its President and upper administration. Designed by Robert Smith and completed by 1757, it was twice destroyed by fire and rebuilt to the designs of Benjamin Latrobe in 1810 and John Notman in 1855. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is also a National Historic Landmark.

The firm was commissioned to modernize the office of the President, as well as the office suites for the Provost; Senior Vice President of Administration; Vice President of Public Affairs; and the Dean of the Graduate School. 

FMG was the lead designer for Health, Safety, and Accessibility Improvements to Nassau Hall which included a complete fire suppression system, fire alarm system replacement, emergency lighting and exit signage, access control systems, and fire separation and exit upgrades. FMG coordinated all code reviews and worked with the consultant team to design new elements to blend harmoniously with the historic fabric of Nassau Hall.
